regular expressions in Zotero

Hi,

I wanted to know if there are regular expressions I could use
in Zotero search tool. One problem I have is when I try to
search for some word with rare characters like "ü, è, ...".
Most of the time I cannot find the author I am looking for and
I end adding the same document again. I think that it could be
solved if I could use regular expressions in Zotero.
