Zotero "Z" button disappears when I close Firefox

Has anyone else seen this or know why it's happening?

OS: Win 7
Mozilla: 29.0.1

I go to "Customize" and drag the "Z" icon into a spot just to the right of the URL bar. It works fine to turn on and off Zotero, but when I close and re-open M, the Z has disappeared. Other icons I put on next to it are still there though.

Any idea.

If you have other Firefox extensions/themes installed, try disabling them. See if that helps.

And if that doesn't help, when you say it has disappeared, what does that mean, exactly? Can you find it again in Customize?

If you go to about:config in the Firefox address bar and filter for extensions.zotero.statusBarIcon, what's the value?

Thanks, guys! Before I had a chance to try these things, it stopped doing it. Interestingly after adding some other extensions, aurimas. Dan, by "disappeared" I meant that it disappeared from the spot I dragged it to, but I could still find it "Customize" and re-place it. Problem (mysteriously) solved.
