System Requiremenst to run host program

Using the host application from home I have:

Firefox 21.0
MS Windows XP Ser Pack 3
Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 Ghz single processor
2 Gig Ram

Which seems to be enough to run the host program. I don't know how to tell what "version" of the host program is running.

At one local library I was trying to use a machine with:

Windows Explorer ??
MS Windows XP Ser Pack 3
1.59 Ghz single processor
1 Gig Ram

This was definitely not enough computer to run the client side of the host program. I could login, and I could go into collections. However clicking a tag locks the system. I had to kill the browser.

dah... edited to add browsers.
  • This ties in with a different thread that I started:

I am sure at this point that logging in twice was not the problem.

As I use some other machines, I'll report my experiences. By and large at the college libraries the PCs for public use are the dogs to discourage public users. The libraries have to provide access, but nothing says that public access and student access have to be on par. The students are using better machines.
