numbering issue

Friends,
I have a problem in citation numbering which i have explained below.

Suppose i have four lines in a paragraph,at the end of each line i have added a reference and the number goes as 1,2,3,4. If i cut the first line and put it at the end of the paragraph, the numbering dosent change accordingly ie. ref 2 should become 1, ref 3 should become 2 etc. But this dosent happen. I tried first saving the document and reopening it,but the problem do exit.

I am using zotero with firefox in ubuntu 11.10 and with libreoffice version 3.0

Any solutions would be appreciated,

Which style are you using?

Hi,
I am using the J. Phys Chem style. I have resolved the problem in an indirect way.

Suppose i change the present reference style to other journal style such as 'cell' which dosent write numbers at the inserted positions bu the authors name like (scot et al.,2000) and then once again change change style to J. Phys Chem format, the numbering comes correctly.

Just on the off chance, did you try refreshing after moving the text (using the Zotero icon with two arrows in a circle)? That corrects the numbering here, on a system similar to yours.
