alternative option of collection sorting/ordering

now it seems that zotero automatically sorts collections by their names. but often I would like to put them into another order yet not by renaming them, e.g. '1 b', '2 a'.

This has been requested before: it would be a nice feature but, as far as I understand, pretty complex to implement. Renaming them seems to me an acceptable workaround.

Sorting notes within an item by manual order is in my view a good first step and possibly a bit simpler to implement, but there is some common code.
