problem with automatic proxy redirect and iframe
Hi,
I am having a weird problem with automatic proxies involving iframes.
On the Michigan State University library home page (http://www.lib.msu.edu), there is a new Proquest search widget that is included via iframe (iframe code from that page is included below).
Every time I load the library page, Zotero's automatic proxying detects this iframe and then reloads the entire page so that it just contains the contents of that widget iframe, but proxied.
The proxy setup for the proxy in which search.proquest.com is defined:
- Multi-Site
- Scheme: http://%h.proxy1.cl.msu.edu/%p
- Hostname: search.proquest.com
In terms of general proxy settings, I have:
- "Enable proxy redirection" checked.
- "Automatically recognize proxied resources" checked.
- "Disable proxy redirection when..." not checked.
If I check the "Disable proxy redirection when..." check box with ".edu" entered, this doesn't happen. So, I have a workaround, but I do have a few other .edu sites that are proxied that I'd like to work automatically, if possible.
Is this a bug?
Thanks,
Jon Morgan

adamsmithWhile this shouldn't be happening at all, a better workaround would be to delete proquest from your list of proxied sites (double click on the multiple site in the proxy tab). And then not added when you're prompted the next time.
