Aquabrowser Translator Request

A number of libraries are now using or switching to the Aquabroswer interface. Among these are Harvard, the University of Chicago, and the Washington Research Library consortium (WRLC), although the website for the company (http://sites.google.com/site/urd2comparison/aquabrowser/examples) lists 94 Universities, 33 Consortia, and 525 Public Libraries as its customers. Writing as a student in the WRLC consortium (http://discovery.wrlc.org) I was hoping to request an Aquabrowser translator so that those of us in these systems can take advantage of Zotero in our libraries.

Thank you!
  • generally - yes, would be nice, not sure how easy to do, though - the catalogs look quite distinct - the link to MARC data - which is what we'd likely want to use - appears to be somewhere different for all of them. Note, though, that both Harvard and UofC made their version of Aquabrowser Zotero compatible by using COinS (try it out on their sites).
I'd suggest you contact your library/library consortium with that - see also your other issue.

that said, you should still contact your library on both issues.
