White bar in Firefox 4 - caused by Zotero

Hi there...I just recognized a strange problem.

I have the latest Zotero installed on Firefox 4.0 and it works great so far. But every time i Start Firefox (maximized) then I get a white bar across the bottom of the window (just where the URL's appear). If i resize the Window, the this bar disappears. I disabled my addons one by one and figuered out, that it is defeinitly caused by zotero.

(OS:Windows 7 - no Hardware acceleration for FF4)

Any idea how this can be fixed or did anybody else observe it?)

    Does this occur if all your other extensions are disabled except for Zotero?

    And provide a screenshot.

    It also happens if the other add-ons are disabled...

    That's just the Firefox add-on bar, which replaced the Firefox status bar, where Zotero has always put an icon. If you don't want a Zotero icon, just hide it in the General pane of the Zotero preferences.

    No no...not the addon-bar!

    Above the addonbar, you can see a white space...where the red arrow points in...thats what i meant.

    Its not a part of the webpage! and as i said...it disappears if i resize the firefox window.

    1) If you're using a non-default theme or Persona, disable it.

    2) Try deleting localstore.rdf, which stores window settings, in your Firefox profile directory and restarting Firefox.

    3) Does it happen if the add-on bar is hidden?

    4) Try a new Firefox profile.

    1. Using Standard 4.0 design
    2. did not help
    3. problem also without addonbar
    4. did not help (also tested on freshly installed pc)

    Can't help you, then. Someone else on Windows 7 will have to confirm this.

    Just upgraded to FF 4.0.1 and tested again.

    The problem is still present.

    I can confirm the problem, Win 7 x64, Firefox 4.0.1, all other extensions disabled.

    A couple of side issues:
    - Zotero causes components bar not to remeber the previous visibility preference: if you close the components bar in the footer it will be open again when you restart the browser.
    - the logo in the components bar cannot be removed.
    - the logo in the components bar is bigger than the average component icon size. this causes the bar to exend in heigh diminishing the space for the page.

    The Zotero icon is nowhere near the height of the add-on bar in your screenshot.

    Also, I don't see this on Win 7 x64.

    Thx for confirming the error...

    I just tested it with firefox 5 beta2...still the same issue. But it strangly happens only if firefox is started in Fullscreen-Mode
