tag lookup should look inside tag strings

The tag search on the left looks within tag strings, so if I have a tag "class-MGT_906", typing MGT would find it. The tag search on the right, in the list of a given reference's tags, only searches from the beginning, so typing MGT over there doesn't find my tag. It would be nice if the tag lookup on the right also searched within tag values, or at least had a way to toggle this behavior so you could switch to "anywhere in string" from "starts with".

    I agree, this is a very convenient feature of the tag search and should be available when actively tagging an item.
