No App Found to Open This File

Every time I try to open an .EPUB and Zotero 1.0.0-247 for Andriod, it attempts to send the file to Kindle. When I delete the Kindle app, it generates an error: "No App Found to Open This File". I thought I was able to open them previously on mobile. I am still able to open them on desktop.
