Either a bug or not supported action...? Android-Boox-EPub combo.
Issue: I have an .epub book with a few annotations in it. I made these annotations through my account online (not on PC or android). The annotations are visible on my PC app but not on the android.
This query is specific for .epub and may be due to the default program that's used to open the document, I don't know.
Things I've tried:
-making annotations through the android app (does not seem to sync annotations to desktop or online)
-making annotations through the desktop app (shows up online, not in the android app)
The Android device that I'm using is a Boox Note Air 2Plus. The default program it uses to open the .epub is its NeoReader V3.0.
Is it just that the android app doesn't support epub well yet, or is this an issue with integrating with Boox e-ink? I'm just trying to figure out a work-around. I searched the forums and couldn't find a similar issue.
It also has a similar issue with the pdfs, but I can at least export those and replace the files in Zotero desktop. The .epub does not seem to retain any annotations when transferred.

Upgrade Storage
Our current priority is the transition to our internal Reader for Epubs to address that.
