introductory signals

I am writing an article and using Zotero for citations. I am wondering if there is a way to use introductory signals with Zotero? Every time I use, for example, a "See id." citation, I need to edit the citation so the "I" is lowercase because it automatically comes us as "Id." Does this make sense?

which citation style? I thought this worked correctly when using "See" as a prefix.
