"Custom UI Runtime Error in Zotero.dotm"

I keep getting this error message whenever I go to the Zotero tab in MS Word

It doesn't seem to affect the extension functioning otherwise, though? So I'm not exactly sure what this means or how to make it not appear every time I reopen Word.

I have exactly the same problem. Everything is updated to the very last version:

It looks like this is a recent bug in the plugin, but it only appears if you've turned on the "Show add-in user interface errors" option in Word. We'll fix, but you can just turn that off in the Word settings via Options → Advanced → General → "Show add-in user interface errors". I believe it's always off by default, but you may have turned it on while troubleshooting some other add-in.

(You can also just say "OK to All" for now.)

Same issue here, but yes, turning off "Show add-in user interface errors" in Word avoid this borying error message... It is on by default... Hope this will be fixed in the next Zotero version.

btw I do not get this error message on administrator mode, but only as a 'standard' user. If it is not just casual, maybe it can help to fix the bug ?

We’ve already fixed it for the next version. (This setting is not on by default, or there would be many, many more reports of this.)
