Upgrade StorageSetting a global default for PDF view options (spread mode) in Zotero 8?
I'm using Zotero 8.0.4 on Windows 11.
I'd like to set "Odd Spreads" (two-page view) as the default for all newly opened PDFs, so I don't have to change it manually each time.
I see that Zotero 8 introduced the Appearance panel, which is a great improvement. However, I haven't found a way to set a global default that would apply to all PDFs that haven't been opened before.
Is there a hidden preference in the Config Editor (e.g. under extensions.zotero.) that would allow setting a default spread mode? Or is this still planned as a future feature?

In those threads, @dstillman mentioned that default view settings would be possible in a future update. I'm wondering whether this has been implemented in Zotero 8 in a way I might be missing, or whether it's still on the roadmap.
