Locking a CSL referencing style in GitHub
We have two bespoke referencing styles for our university which are essentially variations of Harvard and Vancouver. Recently somebody has gone into these styles in the CSL section of GitHub and made changes including to the names of the styles. This has caused lots of confusion for our students so I'm really keen to avoid it happening in future. Can we lock the style down in CSL so it can only be edited by selected users? Thanks

We weren't involved in these changes, but we requested additional name changes (some still coming) to the default styles to help people still looking for "Vancouver", even if it's not technically the correct term. But if you can update your own guides to reflect the new "(numerical)" name, that's probably the better long-term solution in your case, since it's true that "Vancouver", like "Harvard", isn't really correct.
I'll let @dunning, who made these changes, comment beyond that.
Your Harvard style doesn't appear to have been renamed.
