Database upgrade error

I upgraded system applications on my computer and my Zotero app stopped working. When I open it I get the following Error message. The online data base is fine. This is the app resident on my computer. Please help. I am in a time-sensitive situation and desperately need the app.

  • This generally indicates a permission problems. It can also be due to the storage location to be on a network drive or cloud storage folder.

    Depending on your OS, the source of the error can also be related to:
    - On Linux, the snap package . (It might have been fixed since.)
    - On Windows, a security software.
    - On macOS, the Migration Assistant.
