zotero database upgrade error
Database upgrade error
Error: Error(s) encountered during statement execution: attempt to write a readonly database [QUERY: DELETE FROM itemTypesCombined] [PARAMS: ] [ERROR: attempt to write a readonly database]
Zotero.DBConnection.prototype.queryAsync@chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js:680:13
From previous event:
ZoteroService@file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Zotero/components/zotero-service.js:347:7
@chrome://zotero/content/include.js:4:14
I have been getting this error very often lately on opening the app, even when I've just closed it a few minutes ago and it was working just fine. This usually fixes itself when I restart my computer or reconnect to internet. But these fixes aren't working today, and this is immensely annoying. How can I fix this permanently? Is there any way to permanently stop these upgrades?

dstillmanedited April 25, 2023This would be due to permissions or security software on your system interfering with Zotero, or storing the data directory in some unusual storage location (e.g., in a cloud storage folder or on a network drive). It's obviously not something that happens in a normal Zotero installation.
