documentation of keyboard functionality
First, like many others here, I'm REALLY HAPPY that zotero exists and is as cool as it is (:
My story: I wanted to identify which 'folders' a particular reference is in. I couldn't see a way to do it (right click, dropdown menu's ...) and was about to post a feature request. On a forum search, I found (after some 5 minutes) that the feature already exists! Hold down Alt (or Ctrl on Windows) with the reference selected.
My suggestion: It would be nice if that feature (and others) was more easily discovered. A few possibilities:
- have a documentation/reference page that summarises (all?) keyboard functionality
- provide a context driven suggestion. Perhaps a hover text, perhaps a 'whats this?' mode to activate the annoying hover text.. Perhaps from a "?" dropdown menu with links to documentation pages?
Thanks again for a great product. It's existence and continued evolution are very welcome (:
Cheers

Bionatscihttp://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Keyboard+shortcutsI'm planning to do some work on Zotero's documentation once my university finals have finished in June, this is definitely on my list of things to do. I'm planning to model it on the firefox keyboard shortcut page:
