Zotero will not save documents i pull up on the lexisnexus search engine. It tells me that an error occurred while trying to save the item and them provides me a link for 'known translator issues'
There are many threads on Lexis Nexus problems where you might be able to find something useful. If the forum search box is broken for you as it currently is for me, use the search link in the quick links on the left.
The LexisNexis Academic translator is meant to work only with newspapers, although it gives an icon for law cases as well. For newspapers, there is one missing character in the translator code that throws a syntax error and results in the failure that you see. A patch is available, if you're up for digging into the translator directory, finding the translator, and applying the fix by hand:

Is this issue still unresolved? LexisNexis Academic is not offering any citations to import. Is the above-mentioned patch still viable? Is there a walkthrough anywhere for how to apply it?
