Splitting multi-source footnotes or endnotes? Moving sources from one footnote to another?
I have generated some unwieldy footnotes/endnotes that cite many sources, complete with lengthy prefixes and suffixes. I need to break up the citations within a footnote, or sometimes shift some of the citations to another footnote. Is there a way to copy/move the citation with prefixes and suffixes without breaking the auto-updating?
Classic View is helpful seeing all the data and reorganizing within a citation. But I see no obvious way to cut/copy it to use in a subsequent citation.

adamsmithNothing I can think of, I'm afraid. You can obviously copy the affixes out of the existing footnotes while creating the new ones, but there's no way to copy some cited items from one footnote to another one.
