INITIAL SYNCING

I just started to sync for the first time and the green sync icon has been spinning for quite a while - my questions are:

I started the sync from the Firefox Browser, using the Z on the bottom right hand side on the bottom, to open Zotero, and wish to know if I can close Zotero or do I have to wait for the sync icon to stop spinning, before closing Firefox and shutting down my computer?

Will it continue to spin as long as I am signed on?

Any assist will be most appreciated

Dan, thank you. I followed your referrals and read of the "long spinning" sync icon. Mine has been spinning for quite a while. Am I to do the "syncing" from the browser, or from the zotero.org website?

I don't think I have more than 50 or 60 websites that I'm carrying - plus - not more than 6 to 8 "notes" files.

Do you have any comment, I trying to get into the workings - would love to be self sufficient.

Looks like your sync went through fine.
