[Zotero 7 Beta] Text formatting shortcut keys for annotations not working
I’ve been experiencing this problem since moving to Zotero 7 Beta on Windows earlier this year. When previously using Zotero 6, the shortcut keys as listed here (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/keyboard_shortcuts) worked — specifically italics, bold, and underline. They still work on whatever version Zotero for iOS runs on at the moment, but even to this latest update in 7.0.7, the text formatting shortcuts in annotations still don’t work.
I can still use the text formatting via the bar provided, but it’s *extremely* inconvenient and highlights more and more that the shortcuts aren’t working at the moment.

So far, I can't reproduce the issue.
Do you have any third-party plugins enabled?

1. Open a PDF from within Zotero to get to the Zotero Reader.
2. Highlight a portion of recognized text in the PDF with the mouse.
3. Click where it says "Add comment" to start typing.
4. Type a word, then try and use Ctrl + I (italics) or Ctrl + B (bold) to prepare for another word. *This is the issue,* as neither of these shortcuts work at the moment - italics and bold, respectively, are not toggled by their respective shortcut.
Ctrl + V still works for copy-pasting in the exact same box across two computers, so I don't think it's an issue on my end.

Update (2024/11/1): no fixes to the keyboard shortcuts have been applied to the Zotero Reader as of November 1st.
@martynas_b: I am not running any plugins, and the problem persists across multiple computers.
