Zotero freezing in Google Docs and searching "ö"
REPORT ID D632713560
Hi everybody,
my google document started acting funny today. It is by now about 130 pages long, so adding citations was slow, but manageable.
Since today I am unable to add new citation or create bibliography ( I deleted it since it helped to speed things up). When I try add citation, the bar opens, I can choose an article, but when I hit enter, it hangs on {updating} in the document and the Zotero bar stops at 3/4. And in the document, something switch on and then off search (like ctrl+F) for letter ö (o umlaut) - every time the same letter. So all the "o" in the documents are highlighted and then fade. And this repeat for some time - I usually stopped it after couple of minutes, since I am not able to navigate the document - it jumps between pages and is not responsive.
Problem is the same in a copy of this document, but everything works in a new document. Nothing changes after restard of zotero, computer, browser, cleaning cache, etc. I am using Zotero 7.05 on Windows 10.

This would happen if you edited a citation by accident to include only a "ö" (or some other operation did that), and on Google Docs it has to scan the document for each instance of that character because of that. See what I say there to fix.
