super nice plugin! I wanted to install it in Zotero 7. unfortunately incompatible with version 7. Any one any idea how to deal with this problem. I don't wanna change back to version 6.
Thanks for help, Monika

you need a premium subscribtion for chatgpt to use aria?
I always get the message:
I too cannot use aria with the new release and my API key.

I uploaded to Zotero 7 which is very good (I like the new left hand pane). Downloaded the ARIA api file (aria.xpi) and selected it from Tools menu> addins> cog > file
I created an OpenAI API key (and saved it somewhere since it can't been seen again) and deposited 10USD even though I am a paid ChatGPT plus user (the budgets are seperate, an a new credit card input is require), I pasted the API key into Zotero >Edit >Settings > Ari and selected gpt-4o, reboot zotero and asked for papers with a specific tag after a certain year and the answer was instantaneous and cost less that 1 cent.
I am having less luck with asking it to search in notes for those that contain a word but I think I will get there. I wonder if "keywords" will include words in the notes that I have created.
Thanks to Zotero and ARIA developers.
1) That I don't think it yet can talk to the contents of files only titles, tabs, and abstracts or other stuff in the Zotero database. Accessing pdfs was too costly apparently but the developer is working on it.

2) It is good with titles and tabs which appeared to be amalgamated as keywords, but I have not yet worked out how, or if it is possible, to search or summarise notes. Notes are where I annotate research so it is important but it may not yet work. The only discussion mentioning notes was started by me, it seems.

I guess ideally it would work with local LLMs but that is not currently possible.

That said, I it is seems to be less than a cent a query, however when summary comes online I guess that will be more. Currently I think it is good and cheap for searching and collating research in large Zotero databases.
Zotero 7 is looking great.
