Advanced search for a specific file attachment format (eps, ppt, txt, png, tex...)

Is there a simple way to search for file attachments of a specific type?

The closest I could find is to use Attachment File Type-is. But this does not allow narrowing down on a specific file type.

Previously, the file extension was still visible on the Attachment Title. But in the new design, the file extension is removed from the Title. The new rule is good, but that breaks the advanced search usability in this case, because only the Attachment Title is visible from the Advanced Search results.

I have also tried to search by Filename, but the option does not seem to be available.
The answer to search for Title does not work anymore, as the Attachment Title does not contain the information anymore.

I do not have any way to tell that these results include ppt, eps and tex files.
[I understand that this is a bug that ppt files show up as a "Document" and not a "Presentation"?]

Is it possible to add the information of the file extension in the search results?
And also add specific icons for these files?
