"getting updated data from sync server"

Upgraded to 2.0.2 from a 1.something version this morning; have been trying to sync all day, and the green arrow keeps spinning. The pop-up message on mouseover says "getting updated data from sync server" perpetually. (I did use the reset button once before I read the relevant Forum thread, but I had nothing uploaded previously so hopefully it didn't cause too much additional delay.) Is this just a server load issue, or is something else going on?

Are you sure that's what it says? You have a queued upload, not a queued download.

Yep, that's what it says. Queued upload, I could understand; this message was and is just odd.

Also: I need to shut down in a few minutes to commute home; I presume that this will just take me out of the queue, and I'll re-enter when I get home and reconnect the machine?

No, you'll stay in the upload queue. I touched on that in another thread today.
