I encounter the same issue: when I right-click the icon to exit, it displays "Application Not Responding," necessitating a force quit. This bug can be consistently replicated on macOS Sequoia 15.1 with Zotero version 7.0.1.

ditto. though my experience has been more of restarting the mac (thus quitting zotero) and the system almost always prompts a force quit on zotero as it is preventing the restart.

Can you reproduce this without any plugins enabled in Zotero?

@dstillman so far tested with 7.0.2-beta.3+182bfb9a3, mac 14.6.1: no issue when all plugins are disabled.

I previously had bbt and attanger enabled. You? @shenpeixin

Like @kzssc, everything works fine after disabling Better BibTeX in Zotero 7.0.2. A workaround is to use "Cmd+Q" to quit directly, which does not give any warnings. However, if Better BibTeX is enabled, the bug persists when quitting by right-clicking the icon.
