Font problem

Hi, I'm working on Google Docs. My whole paper is on "Arial", and so are the citations. I've configured it to give the author's name with small caps, but when doing so, it switches the name to a different font: "Alegreya". I'm trying to keep everything with the same font.

Chat GPT says that Google Docs has its own control over font style, so I tried to move into Word, but when I download the file, even though Zotero tells me that the citations will remained "linked", they don't. The Word file is download as plain text.
Any suggestion for the first or the second problem?

You configured it to give the author name in small caps how exactly?

As for moving from Google Docs to Word -- did you follow this? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_between_word_processors

Google Docs doesn't allow plugins to set smallcap styles, so Zotero "fakes" it by setting the citation text to font "Alegraya" where it is required. We have a fix for this that has been in a pipeline for over 2 years now that we cannot deploy due to a Google Docs bug that Google has refused to fix.
