Issues citing on macOS Ventura with Word

I have a non-beta Word file, and it's still unable to cite and crashes.
I originally thought maybe IOS Sonoma was at fault, but I'm still running Ventura.

Please help me, I'm writing a thesis, and this is not helping me at all!
