Issue: The Zotero Document Preferences dialogue box currently opens in the background rather than the foreground. This can be a challenge when multiple apps are in use, as it tends to hide among them. Requesting that it opens in the foreground for improved usability.

Whether new windows appear in the foreground or background is controlled by the OS. Zotero has limited control over this and does its best to put windows in the foreground.
