Zotero 7 Beta (Issues)

Issue 1:

CTRL+F does not select the previously-searched text in the search bar, so the user must select the previously-searched text, delete it, and then type new text. If CTRL+F selected the previously-searched text, the user could directly start typing the new text and it would replace the previously-searched text.

Suggestion:

Make CTRL+F select the previously-searched text in the search bar. This would allow the user to directly start typing the new text and it would replace the previously-searched text.

Issue 2:

When opening the "Quick Format Citation" dialog, the default focus of the cursor is not in the citation search field (instead, the window in focus is the word processor). So, when the user is searching for a citation, they are basically typing in the word processor. The user must manually select the citation dialog and then type.

Suggestion:

Make the default focus of the cursor in the citation search field when opening the "Quick Format Citation" dialog. This would allow the user to start typing their citation immediately.

Issue 3:

Tab shuffling is not working. I cannot move tabs with mouse click-and-hold drag (just like we move tabs of the browser).

Suggestion:

Implement tab shuffling so that users can move tabs with mouse drag and drop.
