Tag search strategy when add a tag
"match at the beginning of the words" vs "match in the middle of the words"
When I use the tag function in Zotero, I encounter some confusion.
When I add a tag to a item in the Tag Tab, or when I add a tag to a note, I input words in the input box, and Zotero will search in the tag library. However, the search logic used is "match at the beginning of the tag words." But when I search for tags in the Tag Panel at the bottom left corner of the Zotero main interface, it uses "match in the middle of the tag words."
The "match at the beginning of the words" strategy leads to the generation of many synonymous tags, which is not conducive to the use and management of tags.
Therefore, I would like to know if it is possible to use the "match in the middle of the words" strategy when adding tags in the Tag Panel or when adding tags to a note. If this functionality already exists, how should I use it?
Thank you.
