modified attachments not being sync

AFAIK, if an attachment (e.g., PDF) is modified at disk, Zotero will sync it at the next sync time.
However, this doesn't seem to work in my case. I editted a PDF using an external viewer, and the PDF's local modified time has changed, but Zotero doesn't sync it. I tried manual sync, restarting Zotero, restarting my PC, and has waited for more than one day but no luck.
I went to the Web Library and checked the article I editted, whose attachment still has a outdated modified time.

Info:
OS: Windows 11
version: 6.0.26
debug ID: D926538193
sync mode: at sync time via WebDAV, full-text sync, auto sync

  • No files to upload for My Library
The Debug ID should show you opening the file from Zotero, saving the file in an external editor, and then switching back to Zotero and clicking the sync button.
  • My bad. I did it again and this is the Debug ID: D1897523932.
  • (3)(+0000886): HTTP PUT https://[…]@webdav.[…].com/zotero/PE3QIJ4V.zip succeeded with 200

    (3)(+0000345): HTTP PUT https://[…]@webdav.[…].com/zotero/PE3QIJ4V.prop succeeded with 200
OK, and that file was uploaded successfully.
  • Yes, PE3QIJ4V is exactly the ID of that article.
However, despite the successful upload, the file in my online library and my Windows laptop remains un-updated.

You're uploading to WebDAV — there's no file in the online library.

See Files Not Syncing if you're having trouble syncing between computers. This computer is working properly and isn't relevant.
  • I think I kind of figured it out. I am using 4shared WebDAV, which seems to limited the number of files in a folder to be 5k. I have 2889 articles which amounts to 2889*2 files (one for zip, one for prop), which is larger than 5k.
  • Thanks a lot for your quick response and help!
