Unable to edit a citation in Google Docs

    I am having the same problem. When I mouse over the citation, a little box shows up, but when I try to edit it, I only get a blank window as tho there is no citation there. (It's not apparent when I change to multiple citations.) Interesting, I changed the document preferences from superscripts to author/year in text. Interestingly, the citation I'm having trouble with did not convert but all of the others did. I can edit the ones than now show up as author/year.

    That citation is unlinked. The easiest way to fix it is to remove and reinsert it.
