    I have a small screen and having Zotero pop up from the bottom takes nearly half my window away. I'd like to have the option of putting it vertically along the right hand side, so I can still read web pages with it open.

    This is a frequent request, one that the dev team is excited about, but one which they will probably not get to for quite some time. In the long run the plan is to abstract the Zotero interface so that it can be used in various configurations, including a sidebar, tab and separate window, and so that individual panes can be hidden and even rearranged.
