After using the connector in Firefox for a couple of minutes, the problem appeared there as well. It did work for a few minutes though!

I'm seeing the same here -- the logo of any metadata file (.ris, .bib) changes to the Firefox logo on Windows (11 here) when Zotero is set as the default app for the file type.

We're still waiting for feedback on the beta, but we'll likely release it at the beginning of this coming week. If you're having trouble, you can use the beta in Firefox now.

I forgot to mention that Zotero is based on Firefox therefore they share similar behavior and sometimes we just debug on Firefox to determine if this is Zotero or Firefox problem.

Zotero is based on Firefox. It's a bug if it identifies as that somewhere, but it's not a problem.
