We need more feedback on whether the beta for Firefox actually fixes the problem.

My google Docs document isn't connecting with the Zotero connector either in Firefox nor in Chromium. I can't refresh or edit, the links disappeaed.

If you're on a Mac, you're waiting for the Chrome update, and you don't want to install Firefox, that would be an option. You can enable the Zotero Connector from the Extensions pane of the Safari set
