I work on a Mac with Word and use the Zotero version 6.0.26.

NB Got "Startup" spelled as "Start-up" (Word for Mac v. 16.61)

First, be sure to say when you're using the Zotero 7 beta. The current release version of Zotero doesn't use an HTTP port for Word integration on any platform.

I was wondering if there is a way to let the Word plugin know that Zotero's http port is not default anymore. I have two users on the machine, each with their own Zotero library - one Zotero instance

Al darle en el documento de word add citation o add bibliography no me aparece nada el documento sigue igual. Qué debo hacer para solucionar este problema?

It doesn't prompt me to reset it. Is it available in word for mac?

- "Move Item to Bin" if you are at the top level of a library: This will remove the item from the whole library (including all its child items, all annotations you could have made on the attached PDF

Can you confirm that you've deleted Zotero.dotm from the Word Startup folder, restarted Word to make sure that all traces of Zotero are gone, and then reinstalled it manually?

Now I am lost. I tried to copy the zotero.sqlite and had to choose an app so I went with Word. Now I have long list that has all kinds of stuff listed-I suppose I don't need this IDK

It will show options under Cited if you wait long enough, but Zotero has to get the list of cited items from Word, and that's what's particularly slow with Word for Mac, so in a large document, it can

There is a way to work around this issue or to check for duplicated references in Word automatically?

I'm afraid there is no other option than manually replacing those citations one by one. You might want to look up/set custom shortcuts for the Word add-in to make this process a little bit faster. See

so now the document I have (word) have all the intext citations and bibliography which I imported using the magic want field in one click but now any possibliity to link the intext citation and biobio

but my problem is that I can't add any citation at all. the progress bar is stuck. I have reinstalled the plugin in Word but also doesn't work.

How about adding multiple notes to Word? Like the classic view for citations, is something like that possible through Word or Zotero?

This is very confusing indeed. I am %100 sure that I was able to open the note in Zotero, copy the text and paste it directly to Word and it would give me the footnote too. I have written around 30-40

There's some confusion here. Just copying text from a Zotero note has never automatically added a citation to Word.

@dstillman, what i want to ask is this: before, i used to be able to copy a text from a zotero note and paste it to word with the citation. i know i can use add note from zotero plugin but most of the
