  2. Plugin for Google Docs

Is there any perspective of developing a plugin for Google Docs?
  3. Google Docs and Zotero

    by DoctorGeorgios · March 5, 2017
However the only thing missing from Zotero, is integration with Google Docs. People have been asking for this since 2009 (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/docs/docs-community/KM
  4. Incomplete Bibliography

    by bwiernik · March 4, 2017
That is almost certainly the problem. Zotero uses Word Fields to store the reference information. Editors that don't support Fields (Google Docs, Apple Pages, Dropbox, Word Online) will break Zotero c
  5. Incomplete Bibliography

I've been naughty: I work on the paper in Google Docs, and then send it to MS Word in Windows. Could that be the problem?

Zotero would certainly like to have a native Google Docs plugin, but it is a relatively low priority for the core development team. They would welcome contributions from the community. There was some

Does the Zotero team have any plans to implement a plugin for Google Docs? I would also like to see that. I would be willing to help create the plugin, but first I'd like to know if anyone else is alr

I also would like to see fuller integration with Google Docs. I just tried F1000, and while I don't like some of the limitations on how it inserts citations, I very much like the ease of use while in
  10. The future of Zotero

    by mebbert · January 21, 2017
@bwiernik, sure. It's not the Word plugin itself, it's the way Paperpile works AND that it now supports Word. I don't like Google Docs so much, which is what Paperpile was originally developed for.
  11. Keeping Zotero fields when migrating a document from Word to GoogleDocs and back to Word

    by z8080 · January 18, 2017
I have been working on a manuscript in Word (including Zotero citations) that I would now need to receive comments on from several other co-authors, who would have to edit the document in parallel/rea
  12. Zotero on Google

    by adamsmith · January 16, 2017
not sure what you mean by "on Google" -- google docs? google drive? something else? We'd need a more detailed description of the functionality you're after.
  13. Zotero does not update the citation sources

    by bwiernik · January 14, 2017
Live, auto-updating citations do not work with Google docs. You need to stay in LO.

    by sdraaijer · January 8, 2017
I really love Zotero. However, what I really need is that Zotero gets a seamless integration with Google docs. And it is technically possible as Paperpile and Colwiz show. Such an integration would st
  16. Exporting PDFs from Paperpile

    by RichardVarey · January 6, 2017
I tried RIS format but didn't get the PDF links. Paperpile stores attached docs on Google Drive. I don't want to have to manually make the links if I can do it an easier way!

  19. Zotero for corporate use?

    by adamsmith · December 6, 2016
If you just want to share documents, Google Drive, Dropbox et al. are clearly the more suitable tools. Where Zotero excels is at storing information, in particular but not only of academic type, with

Can somebody enlighten me on these questions and please feel free to add additional information that might be relevant for us. Preferably add pros/cons of using Zotero rather than Skype/Slack/Google D
