Seems like the bug is still there. If I import from Mendeley while Zotfile is active, some files are correctly renamed and moved in the zotfile path, while some others are simply copied in the zotero

If you really want to keep your PDFs in a separate folder structure or sync files via iCloud, you can read up on using linked files and ZotFile.

So I just updated Zotfile to 5.0.13 and the "Add Attachment from Source Folder" is still missing. Zotero version is the same: 5.0.76.

For what it's worth, the failures and duplicates from ZotFile are probably now fixed in ZotFile 5.0.13.

@huangyy: I submitted a patch to ZotFile for various errors that could break batch renaming, include one of the errors you were seeing. Those fixes are now in ZotFile 5.0.13, so this may be fixed now

@hgunz: Try upgrading to the latest ZotFile version. There were some bugs in previous versions that should be fixed in 5.0.13.

For everyone experiencing problems with 5.0.12: Update to v5.0.13 and report any remaining issues here. Note that opening PDFs is now handled by Zotero. That means the zotfile preferences 'openPdfWin'
