What LibreOffice version?

Have you used the plugins for Word or LibreOffice on this computer? If so, does the search work for those?

Then I did test the same document in LibreOffice on Mac and had no lagging at all. However, because of potential formatting issues between LibreOffice and Word, switching is not a preferred option.

The LibreOffice plugin is bundled with Zotero. It should be installed automatically, but you can reinstall it from the Cite pane of the Zotero preferences.

What version of Windows is this? Is Chrome pinned to stay on top of other windows? If you use Zotero with Word or LibreOffice, does the citation dialog appear over the document?

I'd try updating Libreoffice, at least to the 6.0.6x version, potentially to the 6.1.2 one

unless I can get the whole process running via LibreOffice I'll have to stick to Word! Can anyone help? thanks.
