@naquad @janguv If you just need a white backgroud in reader, uncheck "View - Use dark mode for content" in the menu bar. Note that this option is only displayed when the reader is opened.

Zotero 6 showed the assign tag color boxes as filled in. I didn't encounter this issue until Zotero 7 beta (both the dark and light interfaces). It also persists in troubleshooting mode.

The next beta will include dark mode support for all snapshots.

The original bug is only reproducible in Dark Mode, in the sense that you see the problem only in Dark Mode. But the actual steps to get there also trigger the problem in Light Mode.

I mean the original issue of disappearing text annotation. Does it only occur in dark mode, or was it also reproduced in light mode as well?
