BBT doesn't do file renames -- Zotfile does file renames, but it can be configured to use the BBT-generated citation key in the rename.

@jvoros How can I do that? I only see the Renaming option until Zotfile options, and your pattern won't work there. I don't see an option in BetterBibTeX to rename files.

This extension was wrote to delete attachment simultaneously when a item was removed after zotfile was installed.

I have about 1700 notes, and experience the same 'lag' when typing. All notes are 'real' notes, though many of them come originally from Zotfile extraction. But deleting them is no option.
