Same problem here.
-
Yes, it has synced now. I have both Zotero for Firefox and Zotero Standalone installed, and after trying to sync in both (separately) a couple of times, it suddenly worked. I then found out that Zotero 5 will improve the sync system, so I've now in…

I'm pretty sure the issue is that I use a password manager plugin (LastPass) that replaces the Firefox password manager. It would be great if Zotero were made compatible with LastPass or at least if an option were provided to make Zotero not rely on…

Well, I'm using a password manager because I do not want to save passwords in Firefox. Can Zotero not handle this situation? Can I set up Zotero so that it stores the password itself, rather than relying on the Firefox password manager?

I tried this, but it doesn't solve the problem. Maybe this is because I'm using LastPass as a password manager. I have the problem on two different computers now.

As always, thanks for the quick and helpful reply! The database was indeed corrupted. After fixing it with the repair tool, both syncing and search work again.

I solved the problem myself after realizing what the problem was form the debug text. It wasn't Zotero's fault. Thanks!

As a grad student, I'm trying to save money where I can. However, your post made me realize that paying for storage supports Zotero development, so I decided to buy Zotero storage. Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't know there's a 25GB offer (I had just looked briefly at http://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-storage-subscriptions-upgraded/, which only shows 6 GB). So that's nice, but of course, it's even better to be able to make use of the lar…

Wow, thanks for the quick help! Unfortunately, even after changing the code, I still can't get it to work. But maybe I didn't do it correctly, I'll best wait for the next release and then try again.

Hi, I am looking for a light alternative to maComfort for Windows and found Sumatra PDF, which is a very light PDF viewer for Windows. It accepts a PDF file path/name as command line argument - I tested it. However, I can't get it to work with…

OK I just realised that I can tick "Show only top-level items" in the search window to solve the problem. Nevertheless, it still seems strange that the attachments don't inherit the membership to a collection from their parents.

I don't think that's a key problem. The easiest (and least satisfying) solution for such non-URL items would be to just display the title/reference in the results list, without being able to directly go to them. That, at least, would serve as a remi…

Hi there, could anyone of the Zotero team please attend to this error? I'm getting it as well (Zotero 2.0.2, Word Plugin 3.0a3, Firefox 3.6.3, Word 2007, Windows 7). Restarting Word/Firefox doesn't help. Last time, rebooting helped, but that's …

The style looks very good! There's one (very minor) deviation from the "original": in the bibliography, the colon after the issue number should be bold (same as the issue number itself, which already is bold). I had a look at the code, I guess the …

Brilliant, thank you very much! I'll make a post here if there's anything that doesn't look like it does in the EMBO journal ;)

Thanks!

OK, here's what I got: The closest style I could find is Cell Journal. Here's a list of examples for comparison and a list of all diferences that I could find. Since the authors guides don't specify web site citations, and I couldn't find them …
-
No, unfortunately the EMBO Journal uses a different style than EMBO reports/Nature. For example, the citations in the text are (Author, Year) and the bibliography is in alphabetical order, with the year in parenthesis after the authors, not at the e…

It worked perfectly, thanks for the quick help!
