Hm... Can you go to your Zotero data directory (Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Files and Folders -> Show Data Directory), then to the subdirectoy "translators", and open the BibTeX.js with any text editor. What value do you see for t…

The new format in the BibTeX translator is the one with "nodate". It seems that on your Ubuntu machine you don't have updated the translators for some time. Try to update them and probably activate automatic update of translators as well: Edit ->…

@adamsmith Agree on alphabetical sorting during CSV export in the Zotero translator. Did you try out the filters in Excel? You should be able to filter for a specific tag also when it is contained in a field with more tags. Moreover, a AND/OR-combi…

See also https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4180: 6. Fields containing line breaks (CRLF), double quotes, and commas should be enclosed in double-quotes.

In Excel you can split text into different columns with a few clicks.

Saving multiples work for me and therefore I can't replicate the problem for myself.

Okay, they website structure slightly changed such that the detection did not work anymore. Then only Embedded translator was offered with a lot of missing fields. The Google Patents translator is now updated again and this should work as before.

@ssauerw Right click on the Zotero icon in your browser -> Preferences -> Advanced -> click on Update Translators. Then reload the page.

The issue with Wiley "toc" should be fixed now. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences. However, I see, that saving…

@fbennett The API of CanLII looks interesting. Do you know whether they allow to save the same API key for all Zotero users in a translator?

The unproxified URL would be https://dlib.eastview.com/browse/doc/49743361 However, I don't have access to this resource. @adamsmith Can you test this? Maybe, the proxy is a problem here, because currently we use a permaLink which uses a fixed bas…

This is now fixed — thanks for reporting. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences. Any further problems let us know…

Okay, I located the error. The CSS path in text() is here from another element (not the document) and this does not work anymore. Let us continue on Github and I will ping you there.

I can replicate the error. However, when I try the same URL in Scaffold then everything works fine. @adamsmith @dstillman Any ideas what is the problem here?
-
Can you give an URL of a webpage where you see issues with the Zotero Translator?
-
I started to work on that: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/1643 However, there is a newer interface named "Nexis Uni" or simply "Nexis" and the old interface still named "LexisNexis Academic". Which one do you use at your universities?

The Crossref simple text search can be found here https://apps.crossref.org/SimpleTextQuery (registration with any email address is free)

Okay, I fixed it. The update should be available shortly. I created a video for you how I fixed it: https://imgur.com/a/Kdv2pOB . The materials of my Zotero Translators Workshop (in German) are also online.

The ToC for ScienceDirect should now work, after updating the translators. I guess that the Wiley page is loading some content after, which makes detection much harder.

@adomasven This looks great and are good news! I tried it out and started a document in APA style with a citation and list of references. So far that worked well. Then I tried to switch to a footnote style (CMoS full note) but that didn't work ans s…

I see that some articles in these newspapers also work well with the author names. Cleaning and splitting author names is always tricky when there is not more structured data available. We could use a replace on the string for these cases, which sho…

Okay, it seems to depend a little on what you do before. I don't know an exact sequence of steps, but try to wait after all messages are through the debug output after starting Zotero, click on clear and then close the debug output, try it again for…

@emilianoeheyns The new CSL-features are included in the last month and therefore only part of the master version at github (not in the preview version you can download). There is currently only one fixed AMA-like citation style, but the plan is AFA…

Another word processor which is currently build in the context of OJS journals is Texture. They have already a CSL mapping, BibTeX import, DOI look-up in CSL-JSON data, and they promised to look into Zotero integration.

I updated the NewsnetTamedia translator to include now also these two newspapers. This will be deployed automatically in the next hours or you can update the translators manually now. The main change needed was to extend the target expression, see …

Thank you for the report. There is another ticket about CNKI and Baidu Scholar, where I added this information.
