@aurimas: What is the order in the list of character encodings? It seems like a random order for me...
-
No, there is no need to save manually something. Zotero will update automatically if you have checked Automatically check for updated translators in the settings.
-
You are looking for something like an installation guide, right? The CSV export is now (September 2014) included in the official Zotero, i.e., normally it is just working "out of the box" and you don't have to download anything. Please note that som…

aurimasv updated the CVS translator about 6 hours ago. Normally, it is a good thing to always stick to the newest version of the translators. If you have made any costum configuration you will want to copy that before.

Well, different authors are seperator by a delimiter. The "and" is just used between the second-last and last author, e.g. Bruce A. Tate, Ian Dees, Frederic Daoud and Jack Moffitt (2014): Seven More Languages in Seven Weeks: Languages That Are Sha…

You need something like this (just do the according stuff in the visual editor): x+01: x+02: x+03: x+04: x+05: x+06: x+07: x+08: x+09: x+10: x+11: x+12: x+13: …

Some documentation which may be helpful: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step . Alternatively, you can try to convince the autoratives at your faculty to allow the well-established journal style as well.
-
Well, it works here, I just tried it out. Moreover, there is the following line in the code: "\u0130":"{\\.I}", // LATIN CAPITAL LETTER I WITH DOT ABOVE Which indicates the replacing of unicode character U+0130 with the LaTeX code for every encodi…

There are some points we would like you to go trough: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles . Report the results here, and then we can take it from there.
-
Okay, thank you for the information. (I should have read further in that instruction page:) I created a fix for that citation style, which should go through quickly.
-
Do you have an (online) documentation for the journal Ecosystems which is indicating that the journal names should be spelled out? I have found in their Instructions for Authors guideline: STYLE MANUAL: Guidelines for references, symbols, abbreviat…

A translator for the new DAI Zenon interface is now up.
-
Ah, okay. It might be interesting to know why this is case. I doubt that length of the string is a problem, because we have also e.g. "Öffentliche Gesetzesnummer" which is longer.
-
This style may be still missing, also there is an old request for it, see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/14756/style-request-ntc-5613/ . Is the 2008 version still the newest one?

Try to use "contains", i.e. return ZU.xpath(doc, '//div[contains(@class,"articleBox") or contains(@class,"articleBox ")]'); but then there is another error occuring on that example url...

@praveens, @adamsmith: Thank you very much for the help. All issues mentioned above should be adressed now. I checked the thesis type and report (working paper), which should now show up according to the manual. The style will appear on the reposito…
-
I guess we should also check thesis and working papers. Did someone check that already? What item type would I choose in Zotero/CSL for a working paper?
-
Okay, I am beginning to correct the issues.
-
I did some improvements: * adjust the header information, rename the file according to the id * delete translator (just the editors are included now, because I haven't found anything in the style guide about translators) * delete series title * …

Do you mean the "Journal of the American College of Surgeons" and the "Journal of Chemical Education"? Where exectly did you read in the style guide about this issue?
-
You can share what you have so far, e.g. here https://gist.github.com/ (no registration needed, copy the url back here again). Then, I can have a look at it and try to improve. I agree, it would be good to include that style in the repository.
-
The style is now up. It will appear on the style repository within 30mins under http://www.zotero.org/styles/zeitschrift-fur-deutsche-philologie . For "Werke in Editionen" with "Ders./Dies." try to use the type encyclopediaArticle.

All these journals should be based on the same citation style for IEEE. I guess that IEEE changed their style manual somehow? Can you elaborate what differences you encountered? I guess that this is the new style manual: http://www.ieee.org/documen…

Can anyone reproduce the error on the particular page?

A good starting point for creating citation styles is this step-by-step documentation. Is there an online available documentation for the citation rules you want to follow? Is it actually a German style (Auflage, erschienen) or Englisch (Volume, Iss…

The hack should work in firefox with the zotero addon, if you have firebug installed. I don't think that this affects the standalone in any matter. I made two pictures for explaining how I can temporarily deactivate the right pane, please have a loo…

There are connectors for various browser which work together with Zotero Standalone, see https://www.zotero.org/support/installation . Then most translators (one-click solutions for various websites) should work.
