Okay, yes, they are identical in their structure. I think I know what happens: if you cite a reference the first time it will show up as China — Measures Related to the Exportation of Various Raw Materials, WT/DS394/AB/R, 356 (Appellate Body 2012).…

Select the two entries in zotero, right click to open the context menue, export to, choose CSL JSON. The file can be opened with any text editor and copy the content here or link to a copy if uploaded somewhere.
-
In Firefox, you can right click on the zotero folder icon and choose the Embedded Metadata translator instead. That should give you the correct data here.
-
Yes, I can confirm both issues. I will fix them. Update: It is fixed and it should appear shortly in the repo.
-
Can you export the two citations from zotero to CSL JSON and post/link the result here? Do you add any locator in the citations in Word, like paragraphe?

Yes, thank you for reporting. I corrected it and it should appear shortly.

I don't see a solution (except trying to change the requirements in the style instructions;-)

A translator fix with further improvements is now up. Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences. If you're using Standalone, …

(Maybe unrelated, but any reason your RDF/XML is not starting with the xml declaration? See also the RDF Validator.)

My values are intl.locale.matchOS = true, general.useragent.locale = en-US. Changing it to intl.locale.matchOS = false, general.useragent.locale = de seems to solve the problem. However, zotero itself with all menues and labels are in German for bot…

Okay, I see. I will try to fix this, may take a little while.

Okay, while this is working correctly in Firefox Addon, I can reproduce the behaviour in Standalone in German. @Dan, is there a different handling inputed dates in localized configuration for standalone and firefox addon? Moreover, other dates as a…

Why are you using the form argument AND the date-part elements together?
-
The CSL specification should give us the answer here: If you use "numeric" or "text" as value for form, then the localized version are used, e.g. numeric for de-DE: 19.09.1999. Alternatively, you can create an individual appearance of the date with …

No, the pull request is not yet at the right place. See https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md how to do it.
-
The RIS data from the publisher is currently empty (see Get Citation link). However, in Firefox you can right click on the url icon and choose the Embedded Metadata translator, which works fine in your example.
-
I think the plugin is only replacing journal titles with their abbreviated forms (or whatever one enters there) for styles that explicitely have form="short" for the containter-title variable.

Try to search here https://www.zotero.org/styles/ or here http://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/

Some more prefixes for your list: * "af", e.g. Geijerstam, Gustaf af * "aus der", e.g. Au, Otto aus der * "in der", e.g. Gand, Hanns in der * "auf der", e.g. Maur, Paul auf der * "von und zu", e.g. Urff, Georg Ludwig von und zu * "vom und zum"…

@fbennett: Okay, I understand, you are only looking for the best heuristics to deal with them. You are aware that this will also give false automatic decisisions but maybe we can try to minimize them. "d'": The only idea I have is to test the langu…

(I think "Wernher von Braun" is seen as an American and not German and therefore it is Von Braun, Wernher.)

The librarians have very specific rules about how to normalize a name. There might be other variants, which nowadays with search engines can be found as well, however in times with card catalogues that was different. My knowledge here is limited, b…

In Firefox you can right click on the collection icon in the url and choose the doi translator, which will in your example give you the metadata about the whole book.
-
First, try to upgrade to Zotero 4.0.26.1.

I wrote ACM about the issue as I did on another error in their BibTeX files (chapter, title instead of title, booktitle). However, I am still waiting for a real answer from ACM to that.
