  • disabling other extensions and rebooting didn't help removing the 2 files just ended up with the error message There was an error starting Zotero.

  • the files zotero.sqlite, zotero.sqlite-journal and all the storage folders exist and are accessible by file management tools. Booting Zotero itself by booting the browser seems to work as the icon appears correctly at the bottom of the browser.…
