Thank you. I went through the list at that page and nothing worked but then I uninstalled and reinstalled the connector (Chrome) and that fixed it. Might want to put that solution in that useful troubleshooting guide. Thanks.

The same is true now for the NY Times and the Washington Post. No longer recognizes articles there are newspaper articles, just as web pages. E.g. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/06/opinion/reading-writing-stuttering.html?searchResultPosition=1 anot…

Very helpful. Thank you. Also just want to check one other thing: If I'm working on a document using Firefox Zotero but then I upgrade to 5.0, will I have any problems or will it be seemless, still knowing all the citations I have used (to know when…

I second the call for a translator for Readex. Their database of 19th c. US newspapers is the best there is. It indexes hundreds if not thousands of newspapers. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but here is the list of the fully indexed fully searchabl…

Ah, that must be the problem because when I "open in external viewer" it opens in reader with no problem. Browser must be using a different add-on then and I tried to follow instructions and update js but it didn't fix it. No matter though, as viewi…

Just to let others know, I did find a solution that worked. I downloaded Biblioscape using its free trial, then used that to import from Scholar's Aid, then to export to RIS. Then I imported the RIS file into Zotero. With three conversions it was…

I just saw that there has recently been an update for the Word plugin. That's great. My question is whether I need to download that separately? Recently my Firefox automatically notified me that there were updates to Zotero (RC1) and I installed …

I used that and it worked and I was happy, but now when I create new notes I have to do the same thing for each note. Is there any way to disable spell check by default rather than do it for each individual note? Thanks.

Thesis format is incorrect for Chicago Style output in word. First, the title of the thesis should be in quotation marks, but with Zotero it is italicized. Second the citation should include "PhD diss." From the Chicago Style web site comes this …

OK, thanks to both of you for your help. I used Biblioscape and that worked, except that when I imported into Biblioscape it converted all my books into journal articles and what should be the book title is now in the publication field. It also lo…

When will there be a plugin for Office 2007?
