thanks - of course. sorry to trouble you.
-
workaround: can be addressed by converting to endnotes before final draft, changing the font as desired, then changing back to footnotes. I found I could not make the font change via the Word style
-
I'm having the same difficulty in Word for windows (windows 10)
-
was using MLA full, However seems like I fixed it somehow by completely rebooting. sorry to have troubled you.
-
OK thanks - you've prob spent enough time on this. the URL link is a perfectly adequate solution that I hadnt noticed before
-
BTW I very much like the new connector for chrome that allows me to specify which Zotero folder to save a link to, Excellent improvement
-
well that does make sense. here's an example https://www.brookings.edu/research/tracking-the-gig-economy-new-numbers/ I wonder if there is a way in the settings to have Zotero load the web URL rather than the snapshot?
-
so when I click on an article within zotero, my browser tries to load the local copy (stored at D:/zotero etc). the browser is so slow to load that it's faster to go back, copy the original web URL, paste that into another browser and load that inst…

OK working now thanks very much for the help. is saving to Z standlone which is what I use anyway. Much appreciated.

OK so I followed instructions (I think). Deleted data directory (sqlite.xx files) for firefox version only (standalone is till all there). Restarted firefox. Old directoyr gone - new one visible with none of my content. BUT firefox add button still…

addendum2: recent adds to the library made using chrome are not available for selection using the Word plugin - they dont show up after searching
-
addendum: not working on another machine either. same story: click button, says its saving, no addition to library
-
wow. suddenly everything worked. last checked an hour or so but now everything is in place. guess your instructions were perfect - and sorry to bother you again. Thanks! BTW zotero is as the Brits say the bees knees.

Ok so lets ignore that for now, and focus on why the online version does not reflect the changes I made locally to the subcollection structure any further suggestions? I've tried manual syncing at both ends; items get synced but not structure.
-
so I followed your directions, moved the zotero directories out of dropbox (now folders in the root directory). checked database integrity (no issues), and reset translators... seems like this synced the subcollection structure for the Zotero stand…
-
OK tx. didnt realize about dropbox.... will follow other suggestions.

Debug ID is D972702963.
-
yes. seems like that was the problem. thanks again for the help.
-
thanks. I'm now pursuing a theory that this is caused by dropbox: my data directory has been located within dropbox thus gets synced by drop box as well a zotero.now moving directory out of dropbox.
